Finally, you will discover the magical Galápagos archipelago, globally renowned for its exceptional biodiversity and conservation efforts.

This itinerary includes accommodation in selected hotels, private transportation, expert guides, cultural and adventure activities, and personalized support to ensure that every moment of your trip is memorable and enriching.

Tour Plan / Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Quito & Colonial Tour

Reception at Mariscal Sucre International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Quito.

In the afternoon, tour Quito’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit iconic churches such as La Compañía de Jesús and San Francisco, as well as the Plaza Grande. Finish with a visit to the Panecillo viewpoint for panoramic city views.

Dinner included at a local restaurant.

 

Day 2 – Full-Day Excursion to Otavalo

Departure at 8:00 am to Otavalo, in Imbabura Province.

Visit the famous artisan market at Plaza de los Ponchos in Otavalo. Then, walk to Peguche Waterfall, a sacred site for indigenous communities, and learn about their traditions.

Next, visit El Cóndor Park, a rescue and observation center for Andean birds of prey.

Return to Quito in the late afternoon.

 

Day 3 – Quito Historic Tour & Transfer to Baños

Morning guided tour of historic sites in Quito not visited on Day 1, including museums and emblematic plazas.

At 2:00 pm, transfer by road to Baños de Agua Santa (approx. 3–4 hours).

Arrival, hotel check-in, and dinner included.

 

Day 4 – Nature and Landscapes in Baños

Morning: Tour the Waterfalls Route along the Puyo-Baños road, visiting Manto de la Novia, Pailón del Diablo, and other waterfalls.
Lunch on your own.

Afternoon (2:00–5:00 pm): Visit the Tree House to enjoy the “Swing at the End of the World” and panoramic views of the Tungurahua volcano.

Optional evening activity: Relax in the Termas de la Virgen (thermal baths).

 

Day 5 – Adventure in Baños

Morning (9:00–13:30): Choose an adventure activity – rafting on the Pastaza River or canyoning on local waterfalls.

Afternoon: Canopy (zip line) over the natural landscapes of the region.
Evening free for rest or exploring the town.

 

Day 6 – Flight to Galápagos & Santa Cruz Highlands

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Baltra Island in the Galápagos.

Meet your certified naturalist guide and transfer to Santa Cruz Island.

Lunch at El Chato restaurant in the highlands.

Guided walk to observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat, endemic vegetation, and panoramic volcanic landscapes.

Visit the lava tunnels, ancient volcanic formations.

Transfer to the hotel in Puerto Ayora.

Evening: Informative talk about upcoming activities.

 

Day 7 – Full-Day Snorkel Excursion

Departure from Puerto Ayora pier with your naturalist guide.

Sail to Pinzón Island (approx. 50 min) for the first snorkeling session, with opportunities to swim with white-tip sharks, Galápagos sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, and tropical fish.

Lunch served on board.

Sail to Playa La Fe or another designated site for the second snorkeling session, observing manta rays, marine iguanas, and local birds.

Time to relax on the white sand beach, a nesting area for sea turtles (November to February).

Return to Puerto Ayora in the afternoon.

 

Day 8 – Tortuga Bay & Charles Darwin Research Station

Morning: Approx. 45-minute walk to Tortuga Bay, one of Ecuador’s most beautiful beaches. Observe finches, Galápagos doves, marine iguanas, and the endemic cucuve bird.

Afternoon: Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about conservation programs and see giant tortoises in captivity, including the story of Solitario George.

 

Day 9 – Los Gemelos & Free Time

Morning: Visit Los Gemelos, two volcanic craters surrounded by a unique Scalesia forest.

Afternoon free for shopping, relaxing on the beach, or optional activities such as kayaking or snorkeling.

 

Day 10 – Return to Quito & End of Services

Transfer to Baltra Airport for your flight back to Quito.

Assistance upon arrival and connection with your international flight.

End of services.
